Mental Health Services

Inpatient Psychiatric (Hospitalization) 
This is overnight care in a hospital.  This service is used if your problem cannot be treated outside the hospital to provide stabilization.

Community Treatment Team
This service provides team to work by providing a group of individuals including a psychiatrist, nurse, therapist, mental health workers and peer specialists to help you meet your goals in the community. It is intended for adults, who need a high level of support.

Crisis Diversionary Program
This is a residential program used as an alternative to inpatient treatment. Services consists of individual and group therapy, as well as social work services and comprehensive discharge planning. Individuals stay several days to several weeks.

Partial Hospitalization
These are intensive clinic services that provide group and individual counseling as well as med management.  Individuals would receive several hours of therapy in any given day. The length of treatment could be several days, to several weeks.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation
The model currently available in this area is the Clubhouse. This is a daily program with a focus on activities that promote learning skills that could eventually support community employment. Consumers attend and work at the Clubhouse as they choose.

Outpatient Services 
These are services where you live at home and receive treatment for part of the day or night.  The member can get these services at a hospital or in the community.  

Mobile Outpatient
These are outpatient services that can be delivered to you in your home or in the community if certain conditions are met.

Targeted Casemanagement
This service provides a mental health casemanager that completes an assessment and develops a plan to help the child and family access services, obtain benefits and develop natural supports.

 

Drug & Alcohol Services

Hospital Based Detox and Rehab
This is overnight care in a hospital for drug and alcohol addiciton.  This service is used if your problem cannot be treated outside the hospital. 

Non-Hospital Detox 
This is a residential program that provides a safe place for withdrawal from drugs.

Non-Hospital Rehab 
This is a residential program that provides for longer term treatment in a secure facility.

Halfway House Services
Halfway House Services are provided in a residential setting which may be a step down from a higher level of drug and alcohol treatment. Consumers get jobs, and participate in community based treatment.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Delivered within a clinic setting, IOP is  more intensive therapy that is provided several times a week.

Outpatient 
These are clinic based services that are provided by a therapist or doctor. 

Methadone Maintenance 
This service uses a specific medication therapy to treat the member when addicted to certain kind of drugs. You may be eligible for certain visits associated with the administration of this medication. The behavioral health program does not pay for the medication, however your physical health benefit may fund this.

Suboxone (Buprenorohine)
This is a medication used for opiate dependence. You may be eligible for certain visits associated with the administration of this medication. The behavioral health program does not pay for the medication, however your physical health benefit may fund this.
